Sayuri Sasaki Hemann is an artist based in Iowa City, IA. She was commissioned by the Port of Portland to create an installation for the Portland International Airport’s E terminal. The installation was to last for 6 months, but popular demand led them to commission a permanent installation in the D terminal.
